Back I had thought I responded to this, yahoo is being quite funky, my messages aren't going through. I've found that many times shader domains aren't showing up properly is because I have overlapping domains. I'd check out your domains, and check for that. I've done a few tests with high domain numbers on complex objects and haven't had any problems. Email me the file at bnh2@(protected) and I can take a look at it if you want, not sure I can help, but I can try.
