Yahoo Policies 2004-02-08 - By schilling_2003
Back I just learned that Yahoo has started using "Web Beacons" to track YahooGroup members as you travel around the Net, similar to tracking cookies like DoubleClick, etc. It's in their new privacy statement. While they say they won't share "personally identifiable information about you," why take the chance?
It's easy to opt out. All you have to do is go here: http://pclick.yahoo.com/p?optout
But be careful. The "Success" page has a nice big "Cancel Opt-out" button that looks like you should click it, but if you do you'll be back "opted in!"
