Re: UV mapping woes - Named Selections too?

Re: UV mapping woes - Named Selections too?

I am having a similar problem when I attempt to both define a set of
shader domains and an identical set of selection names at the same
time.  Seems like I can only have one Named Selection at a time --
not a list containing multiple names.  Make a selection and name it.
When you make a second selection and then name it, it overwrites the
first one you created so you never see more than one at a time in the
list dialog.  Concerning shader domains, I have seen another problem
crop up too -- create several shaders domains on an object.  As you
note, they are available on the drop-down menus of a Layers List
shader.  But something goes wrong after a while.  When you try to do
a Select by Shader Domain, at least one of the domains that you
defined as a sub-area of the object will now select the entire
object.  The whole object is now shaded with the sub-area texture in
your Layers List shader too, so the domain has definitely lost it's
original definition.  This has been driving me crazy too because
suddenly, things that I thought I had finished are all screwed-up.
It's weird because your original domain definition sticks for a
while, then at some random time (and it's not a long time) it goes
away and is replaced with a domain covering the whole object.  Should
we be filing bug reports with eovia on this?
