Mike,

If you, the author of the Carrara Studio 3 Handbook (a terrific book), has a
problem with the UV editor, what chance do we mere mortals have?

 Subject: [Carrara] UV mapping woes

 greetings

i was trying to UV map a somewhat complex object in the UV editor. so
i carefully selected and named about 8 shading domains in the VM.

i was hoping that i would be able to select each shading domain
inside the UV mapper from the shading domain list, but only a few
shading domains showed up.... GRRRR. the shading domains show up in
the Layers List shader in the Texture room.

i tried everything i know, nothing worked. each time different
shading domains showed up in the UV editors list, but i never go the
 whole list... what gives?

is the UV editor designed to drive you crazy?

 mike
