Back Thanks, if the pie chart was exactly what I wanted to do your suggestion is excellent ....
but I was looking for a more general solution (pie chart was an example to explain the concept)and for a complex lathed shape that could be lathed less than 360 degrees or easily cut away via booleans...which I managed to do but requires converting modelers or shapes go missing....and I don't know why.
I do appreciate the help because your solution will work for many objects.
