According the tsx api functions, only 3 types of stand alone deformations
can be built. So I guess if I am going to request more api functions from
Caligari, it would be to add the ability to create custom shapes using a
vertex array. This can even be used as a new feature in the next truespace.
So that you can model an object and turn it into a stand alone deformation.
I dont think this is possible now even in a plugin (unless I implement my
own deformations and stand alones).

Subject: [TSML] Lathe and standalone deformation

Hi all,

I would like to create a standalone deformation object with a snail
shell shape. Is there a way to use the Lathe tool to create a
deformation object ?
Any other ideas ?

Thanks in advance,

Emmanuel
