A question about the alignment of textures

A question about the alignment of textures

Hi -

I'm creating a texture which uses a mixer in the color channel, with two
colors as sources and Turbulence as the Blender. I've applied a threshold of
about 20 which gives nice hard edges and lots of surface detail.

However, when I copy the turbulence setting into Bump, the edges don't
really line up that well... sort of a "soft translation".

If I copy the turbulence into another channel, such as Reflection, it works
OK.

I'd like to be able to get the same turbulence into my bump channel!

Any help appreciated,
Andrew
