Newbie Question: Banding 2004-02-01 - By Peter MacDougall
Back If the image is a screen capture, your display settings may be at 16bit or 24bit and not 32bit. Try setting it to 32 bit.
If it was a render, maybe you need to choose a different output format: try JPG or TIF
