Hello all,
I am a old-bie in Carrara but I am a newbie in video editing. I am
currently working on a short animated film and I am using
Carrara to render uncompressed footage to put into my video
editing program (which is called Vegas 4).
My ultimate goal is to have the film on DVD as well as put it on
the internet so that everyone can see.
Which brings me to the mind-blowing world of Codecs. I am
curious as to which codecs I should be using. There is synced
sound and dialog too so I guess I will need a sound codec as
well. One scene does having a moving background and I read
that could be a factor (I quess some codecs dont compress
moving background images very well).
Anyways, I could use some recommendations. Can you guys tell
me what works for you?
