tony it looks like you have a good start on the model.

i got my information from NASA web sites, i downloaded about 30 hi-
res and low-res images of the actual rover. some under construction
images

it just takes time to find them. i like the altavista image search
better than google.

next, i contacted the person that did all of the illustration and
animation that you see everywhere. his name is dan maas. i think his
studio is dan maas digital.

you can request a set of orthoganol views from him. but you have to
get permission from NASA/JPL to get access. once you have been okay'd
dan will give you a link to download the images.

the images from dan are very helpful, but you still need actual
photos to see some detail.

my goal is to build a highly detailed scale model.
