Okay, this is a VERY rough draft, as well as my first real animation
sequence of this kind, but here it goes.

I wanted to create a 3D puppet/character with which to practice
walking sequences as well as other animation techniques so I came up
with a simple 3D puppet called "I, Robot".  I am planning to use him
to sort out moves for a much more complex puppet that I have been
working on and that is still in the rigging stages (although the
puppet is poseable, just not very animation-friendly right now).

In the meantime, "I, Robot" is a tester, although he will eventually
become a finished character in the very near future.

Besides this being my first attempt at blindly doing a walk sequence,
please be advised that I  haven't set any IK nor adjusted hotpoints
yet.  He is definitely a WIP, but any helpful advise would be
appreciated.  I have gone to some animation sites, but I have yet to
find instructions on how to show that the character has "weight" and
is thrusting or pushing itself foward because of that.  I know that
this is an elementary question but if anyone has any advice on how to
"advance" a character as it walks so it looks "realistic", as if its
legs are pushing it forward, covering actual 3D distance, that would
be super.

I think that after reviewing my clips, you can better understand the
problem I'm having.  Probably when I set IK and rearrange some
hotpoints, things will execute a little better.  The only problem is
that my IK has been acting funny on me lately;  it causes parts to
twitch erratically when I try to move them with IK settings on.  Then
sometimes I loose orientation and have to start all over.  That's why
I have left it turned off for now.  A Bone structure did not seem to
help that much better either, because certain parts stretched instead
of moved.  However, I have used bones successfully before, so I am not
quite sure of where the problems lay.

Thanks for any help offered.
