Media Player 9, Quicktime, Flash 7 and Realplayer, A New Study Suggests"

Palyer. That's funny.

You're right, if they're trying to kill themselves off they're doing a good
job. I'm gonna give them a call today, as the investor that I am, and let
them have it.

Andrew

Hello Andrew,

Don't know about the macOS thing.

However, have you seen Viewpoint new licensing scheme ?
It is killing me also.

The entry step for developers is ... $995 a year (why not $999 ? Go wonder)
!

This is absolutely crazy.
I must jump out of the wagon as certainly most of people on this list will,
I suppose.

If Viewpoint want to kill their technology, they obviously chose the best
way ...

They are taking just the opposite way than the one that proved successfull
for imposing de facto standards (Adobe with pdf, Macromedia with Flash) :
low entry step provoking widespread adoption ...

Today Viewpoint annouced on a press release that the plug-ins is available
on more than 60 % of internet users brwosers.
So what ? There is no content to see anywhere, and it is not to change
tomorrow with such a licensing scheme !
