Hmmmm, that seems really interesting that your imports are humongous and mine are bite-sized.
I'll check with the preferences as you've indicated (btw, I am using AMAPI v.6....don't know if that makes a difference). I'll also check the link. Thanks for the suggestion.
Oh, btw, I have tried to "open" AMAPI files straight into CS3, however, they are worst than flea-sized...I can't see them at all! They show up in the hierarchy and the bounding box is huge and easily seen, but no object. It does sound like a preference thing so when I get back to the program (I am currently on another PC while mine is finishing up a hi-res render which has been rendering since early this morning!), I'll check on these.
