Back Hi, don't mean to jump in here but when I open Amapi files in Carrara they are actually fairly large, exceeding the working planes. There is a download at Eovia for the Amapi 7.1 Carrara Importer:

Also, you don't have to "import", you can just "open" Amapi files in Carrara 3. If this doesn't solve your problem check your preferences in Amapi. The default scale factor for iport/export of Amapi files is 1.00.
