Another idea: editable post-processing effects

Another idea: editable post-processing effects

One other idea for Eovia: why not make post-processing effects like
glows and lens flares editable after the rendering is complete? If I
have an effect that came out wrong, it it would be great to be able to
just remove it or re-apply it with different settings, without having
to re-render everything. Wouldn't it even be possible to add new
effects after a rendering is complete? For example, if my rendering
contains a distance G-Buffer, couldn't I add depth cueing after the
rendering is done? I realize I could do it in Photoshop, but I'm
talking about taking advantage of Carrara's own capabilities.

And of course this would be even more beneficial in animations. If a
glow is too overbearing, you could adjust it in all of 200 frames
without having to re-render. Aaaahhhh. Nice.
