Newbie-camera tweening problems 2004-01-21 - By Michael J. H. Brooks
Back Hello John:
It's unlikely that you did this but I'll ask anyway.... in the Camera's property panel, under the General tab, is the "Animated" checkbox check? If not... that would cause your problem.
Also, disabling that "globe like" button on the upper left corner of your timeline tray might do something similar but I've never been able to figure out what the "globe like" button really does.
Good Luck,
Michael.

I am having problems with camera movement within a scene and tweening. I start with the camera at the beginning of the timeline at a saved camera position. I then move the time marker to 2 seconds and move the camera to a new position. I then save that position also. But, when I go back to the beginning of the timeline, my camera view is not matching the saved view I started with. If I then re-adjust the beginning position to be correct, then my keyframe camera view at 2 seconds is altered and not correct. I want to keep those two views as I set them and tween in between them. It seems like it should be working but it isn't. I am using a linear tween.
I cant seem to tell am I doing wrong. Ive read the manual, plus the only book available, and checked the online tutorials and cant figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
John
