ok, cheers for that, next problem - how do people get the curve snapping
working without pulling all their hair out???!!
I can get it working at certain times but it's extremely finicky and
awkward to use. I'm just trying to snap the end CV of one curve onto an
arbitary mid-point of another curve.

Is there any 'curve snapping voodoo' I need to invoke ??!
