Mike,

We should talk about this, I have clothing needs and a certain amount of
expertise. Drop me a note offline, and please be patient I am buried in a
project at the moment.

Yours,
David

one type of tutorial i would be interested in - is creating clothing for
poser (conforming preferrably). i would love to give this a go this
year, as i have a client who would really go for their designs being
 modeled 3d.

What I recommend are two things.

First, go to http://www.3dxtract.com/ and register so you can download
the 3 issues (so far) of the magazine.  There are a number of good
tutorials in there that range from beginner to more advanced.

Second, go to http://www.charlesriver.com/titles/carrara3.html and check

out the Carrara 3 Studio Handbook.  It is tutorial based and is aimed at

a higher lever than beginner.  You can shop around for that, and
probably get it cheaper than from that site, but you can read about it
 there.
