I remember from engineering school (or maybe from pre-elementary school, I don
't remember) that :
(a*b)*(c/b) = a*b
Joke apart, I don't understand why you make the think complicated by
multiplying by 72 then divinding by 72, which is just like doing nothing.
Isn't it the best way to have Mel lost ?
What you wrote
Height in Pixels= (H" * 72) * (dpi/72)
can be re-written in plain English has :
Height in pixels = H" * dpi
For example. If you want to make an 8"x 10" render at 300 dpi you have
H = 8 * 300 = 400 pixels
W = 10 * 300 = 3000 pixels
Does it makes sense ?
By the way, is there any chance that Carrara 4.0 properly handle dpi, that is
that output image keep the dpi entered in the dpi field ?
