Hello Robbert,

You better do as you do (leaving the dpi at 72 whatever result you want) in
Carrara.
Actually, the dpi field in Carrara doesn't modify the dpi in the resulting
image : whatever you enter in the dpi field, you always ends withimages of 72
dpi.

I call that a bug, other disagree but still that is the result, being a bug or
not.

Thus the only solution left is the one you use : calculate the number of pixels
you need in the final output, then enter these values in the Height and Width
field.

If you really need an image with a dpi other than 72 dpi, you must rely on a
third software such as Gimp or Photoshop and change the dpi from inside this
third software.
