Thanks for your reply! I've looked into Shader Ops, and it sounds ideal - I'll download the demo and give it a shot.
But I'm still kind of surprised that I can't do this in Carrara. I actually don 't need to control the size of my tiles numerically, but I do need to be able to make them perfectly square, and the same size on two different walls. To me, this is the most basic possible texturing situation. Do I really have to spend $30 to get it?
