Back <?xml:namespace prefix="v" /><?xml:namespace prefix="o" /> I also have TextureMaker. I just think DarkTree is the better of the two and far easier to use. Cheers, Vincent D. Brumback

DarkTree and Texture Marker our two deferent tools for two deferent functions.
DarkTree is procedural shaders. You can make DT's procedural shaders in to none tileable .jpg's,bump's etc etc but that's not it's main purpose.
Texture Maker is .jpg's.bump's etc etc.Does not make procedural shaders.
the quality of .jpg's ya get out of DT or TM our the same. but TM will tile DT's don't. TM is made for .jpg's.bump's etc etc.DT is not.
I have TM,DT I make jpg's,bump's etc etc in TM. DT Simbiont's our free and a lot of free procedural shaders.

DarkTree really is the best app out there for making textures. Highly reccomended but not cheap.
