err, yes you can assign the scratch disk in the preferences for
Carrara...
file > preferences > pulldown menu, scroll to "imaging, scratch disk"
I am working with 524 mb and I can do a lot with Carrara, in fact it
usually renders stuff when Poser gives up the ghost and crashes... to
the point that I dont even bother with poser rendering any longer.
Ive ordered more memory but its still not arrived yet :/
