You guys sure like to take these things and run with them. Now you're
making up your own little stories.

> I am sure that some would argue that I should limit myself & my toolset to
Photoshop to be a  purist

I don't know whay anyone would say that. Why limit our self to only
Photoshop. That makes no sense. I never said Carrara was the only thing I
use. Of course I use Photoshop, Illustrator and a range of others. I never
siad to limit yoruself to Carrara either.

> If you don't want anything to do with anything but Carrara
you will have a very long drawn out process to achieve what I can do in
a fraction of the time.

Once again I use other things besides Carrara. I'm also quite sure that my
process which is neither long nore drawn out can match yours easily.

> Lets see your realistic human done entirely in

I never said I did realistic humans in Carrara. No one does for that matter.
Not even with Poser imports. Carrara is good but it's not that good. I said I
wasn't interested in humans realistic or otherwise. Hence my having no use
for a Poser plug in.

And this thing about being a "purist". Well, that's your word, not mine. I
never said I was a Carrara "purist". Sure I import the occasional EPS from
Illustrator to aid modeling shapes that prove too difficult in Carrara but they
are my EPS shapes. I import textures I made from Photoshop. I just said I
only like to use my own stuff not that it had to soley be Carrara. No premade
models, no premade textures.

I just can't call a project "my" work if all I did was position a few lights
and
press the render button. Again, that's just the way I like to do things. I'm
not
sure why it make you so upset that I don't like to import Poser models.
