Back Great answers everyone, thanks! Doug, you're exactly right, I meant parallel. And pipeline is the answer I was looking for. So easy when you know how. Now I'm rocking!
As for the key cap. I'm using 3.01, and I've had a go at the boolean method with poor results. I'll keep trying it. Do I need a sphere with many, many points?
Mark D. Your spline method was what I started out doing but I don't get a really smooth 'dip' going from a rounded corner cross section to a teeny version of same. Again, maybe I need to make my round corners out of more points.
I shall prevail.
