Hi again,




   I was playing around with this and am going for the bonus points
here. To create the computer keyboard key in the vertex room start by
drawing the base section (like you would in the spline room) use the
polyline tool and draw a box (I used snap to grid for this) but
instead of just doing one point for each of the corners use two points
and make your corners flat. Then use the add point tool and insert
another point halfway between the first two on each of the corners,
then make sure all four of those points you just added are selected,
(turn off snap to grid at this point) click the scale tool and hold
shift while scaling the four selected points out, when the corners
look sort of round then stop. Next select the whole square, and under
the selection menu click "fill polygon". Then all you need to do is
click the dynamic extrusion tool (assuming you have C3) and
extrude\taper that polygon to where ever looks good. Then use a sphere
or cylinder to boolean out the top. There you're done! Hope that
helps.
