Re: Please Help. Carrara 2 Question 2003-12-08 - By ewillia777
Back Everyone else seems to be making the solution harder than it needs to be. Three words: Cut And Paste! Open the file to want objects from to be placed in the final scene file, choose Edit|Cut, open the destination scene (if you haven't already) and Paste it. All shaders will be intact and renamed if there are duplicates (i.e.; Shader, Shader 1, etc). CS2 does occasionally get an error when pasting so you'll probably have to restart once in a while, but I always does this on my large scenes. I've also found that using copy instead of cut causes the error more often, so use cut. If you want to preserve the source scene objects, just choose don't save when you close that particular scene file.
