Back Each shader must have its own discrete name. If you model each object seperately and change its Shader or its Default Shader without renaming it as soon as you import that model into a new file the existing Shader or Default Shader overrides the import's settings. This also happens if you happen to name a shader in a model, import it, then import a different model with a shader of the same name - the existing shader overrides the new one's settings.
