Mike -- excellent work, I am very impressed.

A few questions

note: I am designing my new house now in 2D and plan to
use CS3 to render 3D views and plan/check interior lighting,
windows/sunlight colors etc. later.
(I already did a long./lat. 3D sunrise/sunset az./elev. study for the
min./max. June 21/Dec21)

how long did the .car file take to create (hours, days, weeks?) and
was lighting a big job? and was render pretty fast in b/w & toon
lines?
Any tips to share to make the overall job easier yet show well? Like
I assume the interior is empty? Windows have reflecting glass? How
did you apply textures: procedural or .jpg? etc.  What about the
siding, garage door etc. lines/texture -- procedural texture or
actual modelling?

Thanks,
Doug

with textures to create an ink looking drawing in carrara . The house
and trees were all done in C3 . The grass and little bushes were done
in postwork. Thanks to Sachiko Kaga's  example posted earlier I was
prompted to try a little harder . Note I also used Toon for the house
but not for the trees.
