Back When i import hair from poser to carrara i apply the texture maps in texture channels then i apply the trans maps in transparency , i apply light thru transparency in render but every time i get a gost like effect.
Let me explain when i render what i see is both the full model for the hair i see the texture and also i can see where the transparency maps cut off but i see the rest of the model wich is semi transparent and wich is really anoying.
i tried several times and i always end up in this situtation .
is it a common problem with carrara that transparency maps does not hide the rest of the model and leaves a ghost effect like this.
it could be cleared post work but it would take a long anoying time to do so.
i got down the trick with eyelashes and it works great and i try the same rig with poser hair in shader room but it does not work. does anyone have any cool ideas on this to help me out or point me to some places i can go to read on this situation.
