Hi,
As there's no native support for sounds in carrara, i've found the
following program very handy

It's an application called WavTracker
It's a always-on-top application that displays sound waveform.
Here's developers description:
"This app is pretty self explanatory and Visual. Just select the
region you're trying to sync with animation, set the frames per
second and now you know exactly what and how many frames to key
frame and how far. The Form stays on top so that you can use it like
a toolbox over your Animation app and not worry about losing it."

For example plugins that can transform textures to fit spheres etc.
It's really worthwhile to go through that section. The link i
provided points to WinNT section, but there's also an OSX section
with some tools.
