NOTE:  I just checked this again.  The one possibility was that the
color chip was not following the Luminosity settings.  I took a very
close look, and the color chip is changing.  However, on my monitor,
the difference between HSL of 0,0,0 and HSL of 0,0.28% is so slight
that I had to flip back and forth several times to see the change.

SO:   good news.... no bug.
