Importing Illustrator 3 files doesn 't retain proper scale in SM 2003-12-04 - By Thomas Stump
Back Hi Todd,
It's the schizophrenic nature of the software...French workers, made in USA...
hee hee...just kidding, but I've noticed that my conversions are also dangerously close to a factor of 2.54 something...as in 2.54 something centimeters being equal to one inch.
That's my conspiracy theory, anyway.
I don't think there's much you can do about it, other than drafting all the construction bits in your drawing program, or trying to figure out as exactly as you can how the objects are being "scaled".
