Much better! The cement walk needs a bump map/shader (fine textured) and
even the road would benefit.

An artist trying to do something such as your project might ask "do I want
this to look like a model, perhaps made of wood or plastic with no attempt
to hide it's basic material (or even CGI ala Toy Story) or to make it
'photoreal' as if, in some improbable universe, such a miniature world could
actually exist and the trees, for instance, take years to reach those
dimensions by the slowest increments (animated with a mouse-over perhaps).

As you might suppose, the latter would tempt me the most, hence my
recommendations for bump maps, because they get you down the 'photoreal'
road a little further. Lighting does too, hence the recent interest in
Virtuout, which does gorgeous outdoor light. Anyway, I can see your
toonerville hotel at the end of the toonerville trolley line perched on a
cliff over looking the ocean.
