I think something along the lines of Electric Image, a
seperate part of Carrara that just renders. That alone
would improve the speed, because despite that I'm sure
the modeling and texture, etc parts of the program are
pulled out of the cache memory, I've noticed when
batch rendering it renders much faster, likely because
there is nothing on the backburner.
