Re: Font not appearing in Carrara S2.1 - OS X.3 2003-12-02 - By Bob Dawson
Back I'm not sure what your problem is exactly, but I don't think it's Carrara's fault. I use Postscript type 1 fonts almost exclusively-- activated through Suitcase--and Carrara sees them just fine. The difference is that I'm using OS 9.2, while you're on OS 10. Something you might try is dropping the font into the system fonts folder to see if it will work. If it does, then Suitcase itself may be the culprit. Newer versions of Suitcase check the integrity of your fonts, and won't display them if there are any problems; in other words, Suitcase may have decided that you have a corrupt font, and won't let you use it. Does the font work properly in other applications when activated through Suitcase? If not, you probably have a corrupt font.
Hope this helps, Bob Dawson
