Hi All (Thanks for answering the pronunciation connundrum earlier. I now feel
as one
with the word.)
Am using CS 2.1 and am trying to place a text object (the easiest thing to do
ever?!).
When I use the text tool (in the assemble room), it shoots me to the model room
to
modify the new text object. I try and choose the font I want (Adlib) but it
doesn't show
on the list.
The font is a postscript font and I have both parts together.
I have OS X.3 (panther) with Extensis Suitcase X2.
This is what I've tried (I always restart Carrara after a change):
1. Activating the font in Suitcase
2. Copying the font files to my user:library:fonts folder
3. Copying the font files to my library:fonts folder
nothing seems to work but carrara sees the other fonts in the library:fonts
folder....
Any suggestions? I don't want to go thry illustrator to get type into carrara...
