Back Global illumination stuff is a) scene size /scale /complexity dependent to some extent b) affected by carrara lights c) affected by skylights d) affected by materials So, while it is possible to show steps on how the lighting was produced in one scene, it may not work on some other scene. My experiences have been that getting it just right is always a new exercise. And that it can take hours...
I agree, that it would be interesting to know if good folks at eovia have found some methods to help in setting up lighting. But, I strongly doubt that anyone can give "3 steps to perfect enlightment" -guide. Lighting a 3d scene is such a complex issue - especially when using a combination of different light types. They all affect each other. Sometimes it feels like trying to solve equation with 6 variables...
