Back Well you can turn off multithreading, then it should only use one processor. But why would you want to do that? Unless you have some programs that require a lot of processing power in the background, Carrarra should simply just run slower because most other programs' threads will get enough cpu time to do what they have to. However if you are going to play some FPS while rendering it's a whole other thing (and then there's memory issues if you want to do that too)...
