I talked to Corel tech support about my serial numbers of former
Metacreations products, and asked about Bryce. The fellow told me,
and you can confirm this at Corel's web site, that Bryce 5 is
available now only for Windows. Furthermore, he said there is no
development in the works for Bryce 6. The product has reached the
end of its life cycle. The retail shelf price on Bryce is now under
$80.

I think that by juicing up the terrain editor, allowing import of
legacy Bryce terrains, and improving the creation of skies and
atmospheric effects, Carrara could easily absorb the Bryce market.
