Okay, I'll disagree with you, not about the fact Bryce is dead, because
you are probably right about that.  But I have both Bryce and Vue, and
between the two of them Vue sat unused on my hard drive most of the
time.  Why?  Because it's flaky, and difficult to deal with.  Assigning
textures is a nightmare compared to Bryce (as much as I've complained
about Carrara's texture area - Vue makes it look easy).  When trying to
render, Vue basically takes over your computer and won't let go until
the render is done.

What do I like about Vue?  You can get beautiful skies and backgrounds
with it.  That's about it....
