Check out www.1and1.com- they are having a promotion, 3 YEARS free
website hosting- 500MB, 5,000MB/month traffic, for free. They even
supply some basic tools to build a site. They'll register/transfer a
domain for 5.99/year too. hast FTP, email, CGI, the works.
I'm in process of moving my little site there, so far no hitches,
other that it take time for stuff to propagate (domain names, etc).
>From the bit or research I did, it looks like the only downside is
that the support is email only, and apparently not very fast. But
hey, free is free!
