I haven't heard of this one before.
You're saying that you saw the objects in the scene
when you saved it?
Are you sure the objects are missing. They could
just be invisible. Are the objects still listed as being
in the scene in the "Instances" tab in the Properties
Tray?
Is there any chance the font you used when you
were working the other night no longer opened or
on your system?
What platform and operating system are you using?
