I've tried Atmosphere when it was in its beta stage. I thought the
software was incredibly simplistic (which is not necessarily a good
thing). Carrara users will have little trouble learning it though.
Its been out for awhile and its fairly cheap which tells me that it
hasn't really been selling very well. You have to remember, this
product is from Adobe which is known for charging outrageous amounts
of money for Photoshop & Illustrator (I see them as the Microsoft of
the Art world).
