I think this is the big sticking point for many people. But I don't understand
why
people are so opposed to this.
Web boards display and archive all the messages for you so you never have to
fill up
your local mailbox. If you're not downloading emails, you don't download
viruses.

ignore the threads you don't care about. And many boards allow you to receive
email
replies when someone responds to a message you post. Not to mention the
convenience of having URLs immediately accessible, and images and multimedia
viewable. And a Carrara web board that was affiliated with Eovia could
probably offer
many extras including galleries, links to appropriate tutorials, software,
updates,
news, and much more. Kind of a one-stop shopping for all your Carrarra needs.
Aside from the convenience of being able to read the messages inside an email
app
(if you can even really call that a "convenience") what are the advantages of
an email
list?
