Believe it or not, there is a "Carrara 1 for Dummies" written by
Doug Sahlin. (He also wrote a somewhat more hefty tome, "The
Carrara 1 Bible" that covers the same material as the "Dummies"
edition but in more detail.) I have found both these books to be
excellent resources since much of the concept and interface remains
the same from Carrara 1 to Carrara 3.
Both books are currently available from Amazon.com.
