Hi Guys,
This "File:C:\CvsEovia\Release\MCCore\Source\Common\MCException.cpp Line 44
An unknown error while executing open." is basically a generic error in Carrara
Studio 3 and could pertain to anything. If you see this error please let me
know. Also try to include as much information about your system and how you
came to producing the error.

I emailed matt at eovia to see this thread because I got this same error
last week while using the spline modeler. I closed C3 and wrote eovia about
the error. When I opened C3 again to duplicate the steps taken previously
everything worked and the error message didn't appear again.
This wasn't on a previously made file and I hadn't saved the file I was
working on - so I think it's something else (maybe random?) than an oddly
saved file.
