Re: Stains problem in HDRI 2003-11-17 - By pmiinalainen
Back To reduce render times, carrara doesn't calculate indirect lighting etc. with maximum accuracy by default. This can sometimes cause bloches.
To remedy this do following -go to render room -check sky light -check interpolation -increase the precision do test renders and change the precision to get satisfactory results.
You can even lower the photon count to speed up rendering. Experimenting with these settings can be very big time-saver with animations if you intend to use indirect lighting and sky lights. Also experiment with filter size if you use caustics option.
hope this helps
