Back I've hit a bit of a snag while trying to texture an object, with 512x512 textures. Normally, you can set the texture resolution in truespace and see everything just fine when you're applying textures, but as soon as you add alpha maps and a second layer of textures, all you can see is a muddled mess. Is there any way to overcome this? I'd prefer to arrange my textures on the object (without the use of the built-in UV mapper) and without the use of Area or Scene IIR mode.
