Strange CPU usage with rendermap 2005-06-30 - By Steve Yin
Back Hi all. I believe there are so many people using Intel CPU with HyperThread. So, XSI 4.2 support HT CPU, I can see it from rendering anything, Windows shows that all my 2 cpu are fully used when rendering with mental ray.
But, If I'm using Rendermap to bake something, I noticed there is only one cpu used by Rendermap, CPU is only work at 50%. Why? Does Rendermap support HT CPU? or this is a bug in XSI? <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=gb2312"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.2900.2668" name=GENERATOR> <STYLE></STYLE> </HEAD> <BODY bgColor=#ffffff> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi all.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2> I believe there are so many people using Intel CPU with HyperThread.
